With RA and I both having artist's block this past while, not much has gotten done on O.P. However I did manage to punch this out today.
I don't know why Raus is smirking; but if his eyes are glowing red and he's smirking, I'd get the hell outta there right quick!

I redid the Rika panel from my drafts for a Christmas theme since I really have done very little drawing this week, but I wanted to do something festive lol.

I promised myself I would not get sucked into SWToR, I swore I wouldn't.... And yet, I have. My younger brother decided I needed it, and so I got it earlier this week, and thus far my very overweight Imperial Agent has made his way to level 20 and a slew of undercover (not that kind perverts) work. I might doodle a picture of him and show it off later, who knows. I just love the fact that I can make a fat man; he looks so much like me xD.

After Christmas Kylee and I are gona get back on O.P. and I hope to be ready to launch the site towards mid to late January; with pages going up beginning in February. 

On a final note, I have 2 commission spots open so if any of you guys and gals want one let me know. I figured I'd offer here first before posting it on HF or anywhere else for you all :P. My prices are a bit higher than they were before, not too much though. If your interested send me an email and I'll send you the new prices as they are now.

So I decided to take the week off, after working 4 straight days on my finals (Which I fucking aced! >:D fuck yeah!) and taking a couple of days to actually play video games and relax (You know, the reason I built this computer in the first place) plus a few family things, the week has pretty much been filled with tom-foolery.

However, I did get this draft done of the ever ridiculous Vol trying to figure out how Santa flies around the world in one night! That's something right!?! Hasn't been a complete waste of a week right!?!

Yeeeah, probably has. Well, time to go play more Vidja gamez! :D

Page 2 WIP :D

Page 2 Lines yay :D

Alrighty! So I finished the lines yesterday, and spent a good bit of this morning toying around with the effects and the text. The big thing was playing with how to do the narrator's text boxes; which I think this will work lol.

Also, since quite a few people noticed the second panel I think it should be made known that I actually had to make a layer with a big ass black box to cover that panel whenever I wasn't working on it. Every time I looked at that bird's face I began to laugh, which makes it really hard to do lineart just so ya know. The ironic fact that in a comic featuring graphic sex scenes the only time I have ever put in a censor box was to hide a bird has not escaped me either.

As for the Livestream, I think Monday evening sounds like the best night to do it. I'll post tomorrow about the event.

I might also turn on the stream tonight while I work on the Lodoss picture for those interested in watching me do the coloring and shading. I'll be checking the blog as I work today, so if you're interested just leave a comment.

Page 1 WIP

Page 1 in progress.

So I've officially begun work on the new O.P., which as you can probably guess from this page will become the new Chapter 1. Both of the previous chapters will be on the site as one shot comics, but with their old formatting and me not having the time to go back and bring them up to par with the new O.P. I just decided to start over and give a brief overview of how Rika and Raus met at the beginning of the chapter.

Vol's little side story will come up again though, don't worry. And you'll get plenty of time to enjoy the silly orc's company in the new chapter.

Depending on how the rest of my work goes I might also do a livestream of myself working on a page on Friday. We shall see.

Style Tests.

So as me and Kylee start working on all the stuff for O.P. one of the things we began playing with is the style used in the comic. So we used and old character sheet I had of Celeste and we did a few style references to see how it looks. I figured why not share this with all of you so you can get a chance to take a look and give your opinion on which combination is the best.

Personally I'm torn between the Comic style lines and the Paint color style and the Outline style lines and the Comic color style combos.

But I gotta pick one though. D:

We are still working on the exact style that will be used in the new O.P.; both lineart wise and coloring wise, but I thought you all would be interested to see what came out of all that work.

I am considering doing livestreams more often as I work on the comic, giving all those interested a sneak peak into the way I do the drafts and such, as well as giving you a chance to see the story play out. I'll think more on it as I go.

So as you might have gathered from the pic up there, I'm going to be doing a livestream this week. Most likely it will be either Thursday or Friday, depending on my schedule. There will be another post to let you guys and gals know.

I'm not too certain what I'll be drawing, I'm thinking maybe working a bit on some concepts for the next O.P. or maybe a stand alone picture for some fun. Whatever I do it should be good fun I hope.

So watch for an announcement either tomorrow or Wednesday when I should have the day and time worked out.

Some thoughts.

Bah, been a really unproductive weekend. Didn't really get shit all done but honestly that's just how it goes sometimes.

The more I look at O.P. and the story for the next chapter the more I realize just how much time is going to end up going into all this. Case in point: the next chapter is 60 pages long, and that's just in script and planning; there is no telling if new pages will get added in or whatnot.

But one thing has been kind of left me wondering, how many of O.P.'s fans are just interested in the sex.

Sadly for those who are not interested in story so much I have bad news, there is a lot of it. There is still sex, don't you worry, but more story than sex. I'm really hoping this doesn't turn out to be a bad thing for most of O.P.'s followers; I'm not sure how it's all going to work out as far as who is and isn't interested in seeing the world and characters more flushed out with lots of romps in between.

I'm also considering doing short stories and such as well, either within the O.P. universe or outside of it.

Just some rambling thoughts as I work. Carry on! :D

I've had some extra time today since I finished my school work today, so I drafted up an idea for a scene.

I kinda wanted to show Rika's more playful side, and I think it has come out fairly well.

Victory March

A draft I sketched up this afternoon. Not much to it, but a good chance to work on some atmosphere in the image. I've mostly been sketching up ideas for some of the major parts of the plot recently.

Unlike the other chapters to O.P. which I really just made up as I went along, or had a general idea of what was going to happen but never a solid story; this chapter is already completely written (And has been since before O.P. 2 ended in fact). So I'm mostly spending this preproduction time sketching up the scenes I want to make certain I get right in the next chapter.

This one is fairly important, so it needs a few drafts.

Well then.

This is a first for me, doing this whole blog thing. But I figured why not right?

Considering that there will be a lot of time spent on getting O.P. ready over the next month or so I decided to run this blog, for two reasons really. First it gives the fans of O.P. (all 5 of you) a place to read up on the work going on and get some interesting insight into the whole thing. And secondly, because my instructors in college say it's a good way to practice development times and procedures and some other stuff I seemed to have forgotten because I guess it really wasn't that important...

So...

I guess about covers it for the first post on this thing. Hopefully as December rolls in I can start to get lots of interesting stuff out to you guys and gals.
