GOOD NEWS EVERYONE!

All 10 of the prologue pages are now lined and only page 10 remains to be colored! (And Kylee is hard at work on that one.)

So what does that mean?

Well it means that after I return from my trip home for the holidays we are going to get the site for the comic up, and the comic will go live. I know it's been a long road getting here but it is happening, and soon.

The page format has been changed a bit, and if all goes according to plan the comic will be updating 2-3 times a week.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season, whatever holiday you choose to celebrate, and I look forward to launching OP.

Startled Bird Plushies

That poor startled bird has been immortalized in fleece :D
This one was 100% hand sewn, and since it's the prototype, he doesn't quite stand on his own. The rest will still be handmade, but it will be with the help of a machine. And they will stand up on their own.
He is 7" tall to the top of his head and roughly 10" long to the end of his tail.

Well, didnt work on the comic per say, but I decided to doodle a bit and pulled out an old drawing I did just shortly after the first OP finished and try my hand at redoing it with my current style.

Page 8 WIP and some news.

Well, here is the progress on Page 8's draft, still pretty rough.

So, as I have said before I am really busy with life at the moment; and this has caused OP to be pushed back way further than I had originally hoped. Hell I remember when I first started on it that I was sure I could have it up and running by January.

But here we are, almost August and I am still behind. A major portion of that of course was moving across country and then juggling a full time job and full time school. That isn't going to change anytime soon, but I would like to get at least 1 drawing a week going (as it is now, I barely draw anything at all outside of doodling on my lunch break at work).

My drawing has improved over this time, and I intend to spend more time working on it as time goes forward. So for now I'm going to attempt a regiment of at least 1 drawing each Friday. It won't always be a page, sometimes it'll be just a doodle, but at least it will get me back to drawing and hopefully give you all who have patiently followed me something nice to look at each week.

Page 7 WIP

Woot, I'm pretty happy with all the nifty angles and such I got to do with this page. Whenever I get the chance on breaks at work I sketch to work on my anatomy and angles and it seems to be paying off quite well.

I'm thinking 10 pages for the Prologue, which at this rate should be done by early June. I'm still looking into getting a site up, but if worse comes to worse I can just post it here till I get a site up lol.

Things have smoothed out on my end, so I'll be posting random bits of the next few pages as I work on them.

After the prologue is all finished (around page 8 I think) we will be getting the site ready and launching the comic. Most likely we will be doing a page a week, just gona have to see.

Phew, been busy this month as well. Page 6 is drafted however (no dialog yet).

I think we will be done with the backstory bit in about 2 pages. Once those are done I'll be working on getting an OP website together.

The opening is a bit softcore, but I think people will still enjoy it lol.

Sorry about the silence on my end, last month turned out to be way too busy with everything considered. However things are looking quite a lot better now, so things around here should start picking up.

Currently I am working on tweaking the upcoming story for OP, to make it a bit more lighthearted and give more flow to the story. The script was starting to bug me haha.

This week I have a good bit of work to catch up on that I had to put off last month due to school, so I'll try to have something neat to show you all come Friday.

Move: Successful

So I am now finished with the move, and currently staring at actual real Mountains (Yeah, we don't get those back home). So if all goes well this week I should be starting back on O.P. again come this weekend. And I plan to have some stuff to show off once I get some more done on it.

Thanks to all you patient gals and guys as I have gone through this rather lengthy hiatus, and if all goes well it should be over soon.

I am not dead.

I am sorry this month has been rather dead with so few updates, things have been a bit hectic.

First off for those who don't know, I'm moving on Feb 3rd. And that has resulted in a lot of packing and other fun things such as filling out change of address forms for college, figuring out packing lists, dealing with the EVER SO FUN PEOPLE at my local bank to try to close my old account, ect....

Add on top of that having several commissions fall through which left me about 400$ poorer. Thus causing me to have to pick up more work to make back that lost money to help cover the expenses of moving. Add to this the fact that I still have college work to do as well and....

All in all, been a hectic month.

Thus I have not had the chance to really work on O.P. much, which is a shame but sometimes shit happens. Hopefully once the move is done and everything is settled in I will be much more active in February, at least that is my intention.

Page 4 reworkz! :D

Reworkz!

Kylee pointed out that the page 3 to page 4 transition was a bit abrupt, so I reworked the script a bit and added in a few panels. Moving all the juicy stuff to it's own page lol. I really like how Raus' face came out in the mid panel though.

Still really rough draft at this point, and for now I'm going to leave it there and pick back up on it later this evening. I'll start the livestream up at about 9pm CST. I don't think I'll be on it too long, probably just enough to finish getting this page fully flushed out and maybe do a bit of page 5. I have been going to sleep around 8-9pm since Thursday lol. Yay insomnia!

Sadly, I won't be able to do a livestream tonight as I had hoped. I have to have a 3d Animation rig put together before Friday and I need to get a good bit done tonight to make sure I stay ahead. I really hate puttin these off because they are pretty fun (even though I don't get much done xD).

Hopefully things will pan out a bit better as tomorrow rolls around. I'm gona shoot for Saturday for the livestream, but I might be able to turn on the stream tomorrow night if I get the chance to work on Page 4 then. Just gona have to see how tonight goes.
